The future is bright for SEO and UX - let's chat

I just wrapped up writing a new blog on the relationship between SEO and UX - one that I’m particularly proud of, and I’ll share the link to in the comments when it’s available.

It’s become increasingly clear to me how related UX and SEO are, and how much that trend is going to continue into the future.

One of the topics I discussed was the future trends in the intersection between SEO and UX.

The sections I focused my research on were:

  • The increasing importance of Core Web Vitals
  • Greater Use of AI in SEO
  • Voice Search Optimization
  • Growth of AR and VR

Without giving too much away before posting the blog, what I thought was particularly interesting was the use of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) in real estate listings.

This could make virtual tours, for example, particularly immersive and more impactful for potential homeowners.

Here’s where I want to open it up to you - where do you think the relationship between UX and SEO will go in the future?

AR and VR for listings intrigues me! When we bought our house I was in a different country than my husband so he had to do the tour with me on FaceTime! I feel like virtual reality will open up so many possibilities.

Absolutely! Facetime definitely helps with that.

I’ve used a few built-in “walk-through” tools that felt a bit clunky - it’s fair to assume the use of VR would be the next step with that feature.

For those who are interested, here’s the attached UX and SEO article I mentioned in the post.
