This is for Realtors and brokers in Canada specifically (or anyone who has at least 1 employee in Ontario)
If you have not already read about it, you need to study up on the requirements for AODA " Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act"
This is a law that they are hoping to have fully implemented by 2025 that (among other things) will require all websites to adhere to WCAG 2.0 AA standards for accessibility.
If you are in real estate and have a website and you are in Ontario, please make sure you are familiar with the act and that your website is WCAG 2.0+ compliant.
You can read a primer here: https://www.ontario.ca/page/about-accessibility-laws and if you have questions specific to real estate please make sure you ask them as the fines appear to be quite severe (up to $100k per day) for non-compliance and there is an important deadline (Jan 1, 2021) coming up for companies over 50 employees
Any questions, feel free to ask them below.
