Are you just getting started on SEO for your real estate website?
Keyword research is an essential part of SEO, as it helps real estate businesses identify the terms and phrases that potential clients are using to search for properties online.
To conduct keyword research, real estate SEO experts use a variety of tools and techniques, such as analyzing search data and trends, surveying potential clients, and using keyword research tools like Google’s Keyword Planner.
The goal of keyword research is to identify the most relevant and popular keywords that real estate businesses can use to optimize their website and improve their ranking on search engine results pages.
What are some of the best tools you know of for doing keyword research for real estate?
My favorite keyword research tool is good old Google itself. Specifically:
Search query autocomplete - As you type your keyword into the search bar, you’ll get suggestions for related sub-topics as Google tries to guess what you’re looking for.
People Also Ask - Google shows you common questions associated with your keyword. Great to give you an idea of what kinds of information people want.
Related searches - The bottom of search results pages have a list of other, related things that people have searched for. Again, a great place to mine longer-tail keywords and potential topics to expand on
Of course the limitation with these is that they’re all based on that kernel of a keyword you start with.
